Your soul needs NO personal development or fixing or changing. Nothing.
It only needs expression.
All you have to do to be your greatest Self, or to live your most delicious life, is remove everything that is impeding that expression. And that work is the work of healing your trauma, and releasing your limiting socialization.
That’s it.
It’s truly that simple.
And truly that utterly challenging.
Because that requires deep levels of courage.
You will have to take a deep look at what you’ve been taught, and hold it up to the Light of Divine Truth,and see if it passes. Most of the time, it does not. You will have to hold your patterns of behavior and self-talk up to the Light of Divine Love, and see if they pass. Most of the time, they do not. You will have to look at what you’ve learned from your family, and your schooling, and your religious institutions, and see if it is in alignment with your cosmic and eternal truth. Most of the time, it is not.
And, you will have to face all of your fears and pains. All of them. And see if all the reducing/restricting of your life you’ve done to avoid them was actually wise and healthy. All of the times, it is not.
The rise of your greatness is not the path of “adding to.” It is mostly the path of letting go, unfolding, and expressing. For you are already the beloved child of The Universe, in which The Universe is well pleased, and which The Universe is currently chomping at the bit to prove to you.
You need nothing to do for this but get your own self out of the way.
And that, Dear Ones, is all the journey.
