Another year has come for me, and one of the rituals I like to do on my birthday is to look back on the lessons I’ve learned over the course of my life, and take note of the growth I’ve achieved because of them. And as I look back now on the 36 years of my life, there have been some amazing spiritual lessons and personal “aha’s” I’ve received that have helped me create the life I live today, which I love, because it feels more fully in alignment with my Soul. So in celebration of my birthday, I’d like to share those lessons with you, in hopes that you can learn them from me, without needing the Universe to deliver them to you personally, wrapped in the “brick upside the head” experiences that I became quite familiar with.

ON LIFE:
1). As a Soul, you don’t manifest what you want; you manifest what you allow. So “do” less, and feel good more. And know that joy and surrender are always the trustable paths to receiving what you really want.
2). Life rewards you when you are living your truth, and following the guidance of your Soul. And it doesn’t, when you don’t.
3). Life tastes so much better when you relax.
4). Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS:
5). Every relationship I have will eventually mirror back to me how I feel about myself.
6). I do so much better at loving you, when I’ve done so much better at loving myself.
7). Relationships taste so much better when you relax.
8). Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON HEALTH & BODY:
9). My body is perfect, and needs no improvement. My thoughts about it however, do.
10). The state of my health at any given moment is only a reflection of how well I’m living my truth and operating in alignment with my Soul.
11). Health tastes so much better when you relax.
12). Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON SEX:
13). Sex taste so much better when you relax.
14). Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON SUCCESS:
15). The next level of your success requires not more effort, but more Soul.
16). Instead of the accolades and the money, make the marker of your success how much of a damn good time you’re having.
17). Success taste so much better when you relax.
18). Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON BUSINESS:
19). Doing what you REALLY love and want to do, FIRST, saves so much time.
20). You can do good, and do well at the same time.
21). Busyness is not a badge of honor; it’s a life-threatening disease. It’s OK to do nothing sometimes. It’s OK to have only one ball in the air, and not be reaching for another one with your free hand. Full Plate = Empty Life.
22). Business taste so much better when you relax.
23). Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON MONEY:
24) You deserve abundance.
25) You can attract however much you want, but you will only keep what you feel worthy of.
26) It’s all energy.
27) Money tastes so much better when you relax.
28) Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.

ON SELF:
29) No matter what happens, there is a part of me that is always OK. And the faster I remember this, the faster things will turn around.
30) I am not here to be perfect; I am here to be myself–and to have a damn good time doing so.
31) It’s all energy.
32) Being myself tastes so much better when I relax.
33) Unless I love myself, I can’t function at my best.

ON BEING A SOUL:
34) You are already whole, lovable, loved, worthy, enough, and totally capable of creating whatever you want. Nothing you can do can change this (Although at times, you will try to convince yourself otherwise).
35) You can taste the Soul so much better when you relax.

36) Unless I love myself, it can’t function at its best.
