The Top 3 Thought Viruses That Make Us Sick

Last week, I saw a video by Anita Moorjani where she mentioned the term: “thought virus.” And immediately, I deeply resonated with the term, and recognized the principle as it related to my own healing journey from AIDS and kidney failure, and the healing work I’ve done with my clients. So much so, I was inspired to do this video in order to go a bit more in depth about what thought viruses actually are, and why they are so detrimental the the health of our bodies, and the wellbeing of our lives. I also share what the purpose of our life experience is from the soul’s perspective, why not feeling “enough” is so dangerous, and how the law of attraction manifests our reality. Enjoy!

Life Wants to Be Good to Us

The more I’ve loved myself, the more I found that everything I need seems to miraculously and amazingly come to me. 

Without me having to force it, 
without me having to pray for it, 
without me having to do much at all, actually. 

During my Near Death Experience (NDE) in 2005. one of the things Source told me was:

You know a lot about pushing, and forcing, and trying to make Life be good to you. But you don’t know anything about how to let Life be good to you. Because it wants to. All the time. And you let it be good to you by being good to yourself. By loving yourself. That’s all you have to do, and your life will be really, really good.” 

It took me so many years after that NDE to truly understand this, and live my life this way. Because I, like most of us, thought I had to DO something to receive the good I desired. Thought I had to work hard, put a lot of action in, or create vision boards and try all the manifestation tools. And sometimes, that would work. I’d manifest what I was wanting for myself. But it never worked well, because my manifestations never came with my peace, as well. Forcing and pushing and stressing things into being always left me stressed out and unhappy. Even when my desire manifested, it only brought a fleeting sense of pleasure, not a lasting one. 

What did work was when I began to truly understand that I am a loved being, just as I am. That this Universe loves me, unconditionally. 

Not because of what I’ve done or what I’m doing, but because I am a part of it – we are one. I am loved just for existing. As I am, with nothing needing to change about me to be so.

And Love does not ask anyone/anything to perform for it to be loved. It doesn’t ask anyone to do or be more in order to be showered upon, just like the sun doesn’t ask any of us to wake up in the morning, and perform tricks in order for it to shine it’s light upon us. 

It just shines. 
On everybody. 

No matter who they are, what they’ve done or not done, where they live or don’t live. The sun is unconditional with its Light. 

This is the same with The Universe’s Love. It is unconditional. It is being offered to me, always, no matter what. And The Universe only wants what it loves to be happy and healthy. And the only thing that determines whether or not I receive what’s being offered by The Universe that would make me happy and healthy is whether or not I’m open to receive. 

Because again, what’s coming is from Love itself.  
And love does not force.  
It does not push.  
It only offers choice.

This is what free will is about – I get to choose whether I receive or not. And I don’t choose by my words (by asking and begging); I choose by my energy. I choose by trusting, by being at ease, by being my authentic self, by being in joy/happy. Basically, I choose by being the Love that I am. 

Being Love Energy is the state of receiving. 

And what I now know is embodying Love is the state of receiving not just because Love is the highest frequency available, so that it attracts all good things, but because The Universe sends all our good to our Home address. But if we aren’t home, if we aren’t embodying the Love Frequency we are, we won’t receive it. Again, not because we don’t deserve it, but because we aren’t in the very location that it’s being constantly sent to. 

Love sends to Love.  
Love gives to Love. 

Basically, Love gives to itself, and it receives from itself. Love loves itself. This is oneness in action. 

And the key to receiving our good is to just do the same: to love ourselves. To cherish ourselves, express our true selves, trust ourselves, nourish ourselves. This helps us become who we truly are – Love Energy – and settle ourselves in the state of receiving. 

And when we’re in that state, there’s no more forcing; there’s just receiving. Joyously and miraculously so. Everything we need. Everything we want that helps us authentically become more of who we really are. 

What my journey taught me is that Life just wants to be good to us. Because it loves us. Because we are a part of it. We are a part of Life and Love itself.

But we have to let it.

Loving ourselves is how we let it.

Otherwise, we get stuck in a life of stress and force and disappointment. 

And that’s a life that is less than we deserve.

Three Powerful Appreciation Lists to Write Daily

One of the most transformational exercises I learned to do in my healing journey is write three appreciation lists, everyday.  Not only did writing these lists help me feel better emotionally/vibrationally, but they also helped positively transform my life, and manifest my dreams.

The more I wrote these lists, the more I began to notice positive transformations happening in my health, and the more I noticed things I’d been desiring starting to manifest in my life.  And often times, miraculously so.  From my dream car, sexy dates, unexpected money, and business opportunities, to illnesses in my body starting to miraculously heal on their own, without me taking any conscious action to heal them.  The more I wrote these lists, the better my life became.

Now, energetically there’s a reason for this.  The practice of appreciation makes us feel better emotionally, which raises our frequency.  The frequency we feel when we are appreciating something is very close energetically to the frequency of Love.  So, the more we practice appreciation, the more we flow our bodies with the sensation of Love (basically, we feel really good).  And by the Law of Attraction, the better we feel emotionally and the higher frequency/vibration we embody, the better things we manifest in our lives, and the better the state of our health becomes.   

Plus, what we focus on, we get more of.  Not necessarily the item itself, but the feeling of the item – the vibrational essence of it  So the more we focus on what we appreciate, the more we manifest things to feel apprecation about in our lives.

Quick note: Vibrationally, appreciation is a bit different than gratitude.  Gratitude is mostly taking stock of what we’re thankful for.  But appreciation is taking stock of what’s really good in and about our lives, what brings us a sense of joy, and what we truly love about ourselves, and our lives.  It’s a slightly higher vibration than gratitude itself, as it’s similar to looking at something from perspective of Love.   

Plainly put, appreciation is a doorway to feeling and living better.  

So here are the three appreciation lists I write daily. Try them yourself.

 1. Things in the present that I appreciate.

This is about taking stock of what’s going well in my life right now, today.  What are the things in my life that bring me joy, what makes me feel good, what’s in my life now that I really love?  Remember, the more we focus on what’s going well in our lives now, the more we manifest more things to do the same.

I list out five of these things, every day.  I write down what is I appreciate, AND why I appreciate it.  And I make sure to make AT LEAST TWO of these items about myself.  Writing the why really elevates the feeling of appreciation in my energy field. 

Ex.  I truly appreciate/love the relationship I have with my mom.  We are such good friends now, we frequently take trips together, we go out to eat weekly, we laugh a lot together, and I truly enjoy her company.  I feel good around her and feel loved by her.  PLUS, she honors my boundaries now, and really listens to me.  I truly love our relationship.  

2.  Things in the future that I appreciate, written in present tense.

This list is about feeling advance appreciation for things that I want, but have yet to come.  One of the biggest secrets to manifesting what you want is to feel good now, as if it has already manifested.  Holding the feeling of appreciation in the now actually attracts it to you faster.  This list helps you do just that.  Plus, even if it never comes, you feel good now, anyway.  And feeling good is the main soul purpose of our lives.

Same as the list before, write five things and why you appreciate them.  

Ex.  I love how healthy my body is now.  I feel so free and strong and alive in my body.  I feel like a miracle, and I’m able to live my life like I want, and do all the things I truly enjoy.  I feel such freedom and vibrancy in my body and I freaking LOVE it! 

3. Things that I appreciate that have worked out well for me, but previously used to make me upset.

This list is really important.  It’s about things in your past you’d previously felt stressed, angry, sad or fearful about, but have actually worked out in your favor in your present.  This list helps you remember that things can work out for you, and recognize just how frequently they do.

Ex.  I love how much I listen to and trust myself these days.  I truly take time to hear my own inner guidance and follow it, even if it goes against what an authority figure wants me to do.  I feel so safe with myself because of this these days.  And I’m so much less stressed and afraid.  I’ve come a long way, and I love it. 

Try writing these lists for yourself. 

Do them for 30 consecutive days, and take notice of how you feel, and what positive changes/transformations occur  in your life.  I’ve seen this one thing work miracles in my own life, and in many of my clients’ lives as well.  

Remember, the law of this Universe is: “The better you feel, the better you live.

This appreciation exercise will help you feel better.

It works, if you work it.

You Attract Who You Are

Divine Ones, let’s talk about this concept:

“you attract who you are, not what you want.”

I’d like to clarify something around it, because I’ve noticed a lot of people have resistance to it. The fact that you’re such a nice and sweet and kind person but still attract assholes and abusers into your life doesn’t seem to match this statement, or make sense to you. However, your behavior IS NOT who you are. This is where the disconnect and the resistance is coming in. 

You are saying: “I’m a ‘good’ person, but I attract such ‘bad’ people.” But you’re basing your attraction on your behavior, and not who you’re being. Your beliefs and your vibration is who you are. This is what makes up your energy – your state of being – and your state of being is responsible for who shows up in your life, and how they behave once they get there. 

If you don’t believe/feel that you are enough, then you’re not going to attract people who treat you that way, no matter what behaviors you exhibit. If you don’t believe/feel you are wholly safe in this world, you are not going to attract someone that makes you feel wholly safe. If you don’t fully trust yourself or life, then you’re not going to attract someone who is wholly trustworthy. If you’re not truly happy and living a joyful life, you’re not going to attract someone who nourishes your happiness, and adds to your truly happy life.

Who shows up in your life has to reflect who you are in some way, sooner or later. 

And even if you force someone into your life that doesn’t match your state of being, they won’t be able to stay in your life for very long.

Like attracts like. Unlike repels each other. 

So yes, you attract who you are.  
Or better said, you attract a reflection of who you’re being. 

And the good news about that is that you can always change who you’re being. Beliefs and vibration are changeable. Always. They can get better, or they can get worse. You have a choice. 

So, if you want to attract better and live better, you have to believe and FEEL better. And to simplify it even further, you have to get your beliefs and feelings more in alignment with LOVE – with the truth and vibration of Love. The closer you get to feeling/thinking Love, the more you’ll manifest relationships and experiences that are a reflection of Love, and make you feel more Loved. 

As within, so without.  
On all things.  
So if there’s Love within, 
there must be Love without. 

On ALL things.  
Relationships included.

So BE more Love, and you’ll attract more Love. Don’t, and you won’t. Not because you don’t deserve (you always deserve MORE Love, not less), but because what comes can only reflect the frequency you’re holding within you. 

Be more Love to get more Love.

Why We Must Stop Trying to ‘Make’ Things Physically Happen

A few weeks ago, I received a question from one of my social media followers that asked: “When pyschics, mediums, and other spiritual teachers tell you, ‘not to try and make something physically happen,’ what . exactly do they mean?” I so loved this question for two reasons, 1) because I am an intuitive, medium and spiritual teacher; 2) because this speaks directly to something I was told by Source during my Near Death Experience that I have spoken little about. Before You Begin to Create Your New Year, First Honor and Process the Old One

There’s just four more days left in 2018, and for many of us (including myself) that means we’re beginning to think about what we’d like to create and experience for the upcoming New Year. 

Taking some time to do this can be a powerful creative process, but first, before you begin your rituals of getting clear on your preferences and intentions for next year, be sure to honor and process all of what 2018 brought you, first. 

This one vital step helps you open up your heart chakra, and raise your vibration, so that you’re more open to what The Universe has in store for you in the New Year. 

Here’s my favorite way to do it….

FIRST, HONOR:

I truly believe nothing opens up our heart chakra like honor and gratitude/appreciation. And I believe it’s really important to move into a New Year with an open heart chakra, so that we’re centered in the vibration of love, and can attract higher levels of well-being and wellness in our lives because of it. 

So to give thanks for 2018, sit down, grab a pen and paper, and then ask yourself these questions:

“What worked out well for me this year?”
“What were my successes and breakthroughs?”
“What dreams/desires did I manifest?”
“What pleasant and unexpected things happened to me this year?”
“How have I positively grown/expanded this year?”
“What were some of my biggest wins?”
“What positive changes did I undergo?”

Once you’re finished, take a look at your answers. then cross your hands over your heart, feel the swell of appreciation in your body, and say aloud: “THANK YOU 2018. I am a bit better because of you.” 

THEN, PROCESS: 

Process is about learning from what the year brought you, and making wisdom and medicine from it, so that you can heal and expand your life in the upcoming year. 

With that same pen and paper, sit down with yourself again, get radically honest, and ask yourself:

“What was the biggest thing I learned about myself this year?”
“What were the biggest lessons I learned about my life this year?”
“Because of this year, what am I now clear about that I want for myself/life?”
“What would I like more of in my life?”
“What would I like to release or let go of from my life?”
“What would I like to do differently next year?”
“Who would I like to spend more time with?”
“Who would I like to spend less time with?”
“What would I like to spend more of my time doing?”
“Who and what do I need to forgive?”
“What kind of help do I need to make next year more well and delicious?”

Once you’ve finished, look at your answers, and accept the growth that this is inviting you towards. As you begin to think about what your preferences and intentions are for 2019, take what was revealed here into account. 

I hope this exercise of HONOR and PROCESS helps you.
